We originally started as the ApplyingToCollege Discord back in 2020. As our community grew, we realized applicants weren't receiving the information we hoped they would. Admissions offices complained about the abysmal applications they received, lowering the acceptance rates of our students as the years went by.

On April 1, 2025, we rebranded as ApplyingToCamp. Our new hope is to encourage outdoorsmanship in all ages, especially those who may be applying to college.
